"Some, including a group of Iranians that are pretty famous for leaking Iranian secrets, think Iran is a heck of a lot closer to nukes than anyone thinks."

You mean like the Iraqis who were telling us the same about Iraq?

And what kind of weapon? I'll grant that they can build something that would explode without doing any testing. So a Fat Man type bomb, deliverable on a truck or ship and that sets off radiation detectors for long distances. But anything more modern is going to take testing, unless they somehow have extremely detailed plans from somewhere. Even then, you need experienced people.

Some, including a group of Iranians that are pretty famous for leaking Iranian secrets, think Iran is a heck of a lot closer to nukes than anyone thinks. Some think they could be as close as a year or less away.

You read that on Worldnet or NewsMax. All the experts agree they are years away.
