One of the good things about BREW is that it'll be virus-free: <I have vowed to never own a BREW phone, on the priciple that it enables customer hostile walled garden approaches. Certainly, BREW has benefits to carriers and their developer partners, but there's no reason customers should stand for it.>

One of my main issues in cyberspace is security. I don't like going where I might catch diseases. BREW will stop that.

But, it doesn't necessarily stop users going elsewhere too, if the service provider allows that.

Get the best of both worlds - BREW for good quality services with no problems and roaming into cyberspace if you want to be adventurous.

Good quality isn't necessarily customer-hostile. On the contrary. It's the attitude of the service providers which is customer-hostile.
