The most straightforward play, I think, is COS.UN (COSWF). I also have some SU and some UTS and PBG (both Toronto exchange stocks--UEYCF and PBEGF on the pink sheets). There's lots of talk on the Oil Sands thread:

COS.un has appreciated enormously already, but its participation in Syncrude is a going concern and it has propsects of producing oil for 50 years--and it recently doubled its dividend and may double it again in the next year or two. The stock will also soon split, though that is not anything to recommend it.
