I've made a dozen trips to Mexico with no problems too. The problem is, I've made a lot more than a dozen. When were these trips? The coutry is becoming safer as electricity and refrigeration become more common. Admittedly, I have been far less reckless than you! Reckess has litlle to do with it. The broken foot was in a Holiday Inn restaurant. The cut leg was at an INAH site run by the Mexican federal gov't. The Mayans were never required to meet any safety standards. What's the point when, if they were dragging you up those steps, it was to sacrifice you?
