The next "revolutionary change" is not even on the table yet, and once it is, I am sure there will be disagreements. For the next big change to be successful, it will need to be accepted by everyone, as the costs will be enormous. As it is, China cannot even agree on many standards we all take for granted. I simply believe you are being naive in thinking everyone will jump on board and be in agreement.

There is a lot at stake. As such, I am not sure how long it will take for the next big thing to make it from the drawing board to the fab.....but it will probably be longer than anyone expects. That is just a guess....but remember this conversation in several years;-)
