Everywhere we look, that is a standard headline, or topic of discussion...

You have one party in power and the other party out of power. The framework of your headline comes with the territory. It's natural, inevitable and, to a large extent, as it should be. When the parties switch sides, you see the same thing in the other direction. It's disingenuous, I think, to make much of an issue of it.

How many "Democrats accuse GOP of fill-in-the-blanks do the Dems have up their sleeves??

One of the very few advantages of holding no positions of power, is the ability to blame everything that goes wrong on those who do.

When those in power are more concerned with holding on to that power, rather than with effective governance, the job of finger pointing becomes that much easier.

Do the Dems have nothing of value to say

When you see proposals they are on page twenty with a caveat that reads "Of course there is absolutely no chance this will be brought up in a Republican controlled legislature".
