Re: an issue of it.....Maybe, maybe not, karen. We've ALL talked about the seeming lack of civility in the discourse of the leaders, and the MSM as well. By in large, it isn't the "every day person on the street" who is lacking the civility, but rather those who are either in a position of power (Dean, Kennedy), or those who think they should be....(Gore). I definitely do NOT remember the 40 years the Democrats had control of the Presidency, the House and the Senate, that such vile things were said and printed by the Republicans. It would be interesting to go back and see the magazines and news papers of that era....(1954-1994)
