I grew up on Star Trek, whose five year mission was cut short at 86 episodes. That being said, I have never attended any Sci Fi convention. Star Trek has kept coming back. I notice Designing Women on reruns occasionally as I scroll through the channels. I used to watch Mash reruns until the show's producer, Robert Altman, made a big stink about his dislike for our President. Altman has refused to display honor by actually moving out of the country like he threatened to.
