coug-

i LIKE nekkid. i was born nekkid. i hope i die nekkid.

it is a good day to die nekkid.

i remember the challenger. i was driving a taxi cab then
(between respectable careers). it was an emotional thing
to watch on TV. being a former pilot who'd cheated death
about 50 times, it touched me differently than most people.

when i heard the radio exchange... "throttle up" and then the
explosion... it was goose bumps for me. if you could write a
script for a pilot's exit from this planet, you would not find
a more rewarding climax. it was beautiful for me... but i
understand the sadness of family and groundhogs left behind.
but, hot damn, i envied those astronauts!

there was an hour in tampico last month, after getting the
radiator hose replaced when i was driving up and down the main
drag looking for a way out of town. (signs in mexican towns are
a bit lacking when it comes to pointing out routes). at one of
the stop lights i came upon this guy in a devil suit who was
blowing fire out of his mouth. by the time he got to my truck
he was out of fuel and all he could do was look at me as i
snapped a picture... i don't think satan is really all that
evil. notice the smile and life in his eyes:
