I have gimp on my linux box(es). The scanner, which I'll probably be using less and less, is on the Windows XP box. I use Adobe Photo Elements 3 which has RAW support for my new camera and, even though it's a bit unwieldy, I've grown used to the way it's designed and like it quite a lot.

I'll probably move my web & e-mail servers over to Linux in the next year, and eventually I'll probably be able to run Linux primarily at home but may have to dual-boot into XP now and then for something like my scanner.
