I have never restored an image on my XP machines yet. I just starting using XP in July 05. Used Drive Image extensively with Win98SE, but there are things you have to be aware of when restoring an image.

If you change system components, like a video card, new motherboard etc.. you are going to have problems when you restore an image. Activation issues are not just windows problems, I have had a couple problems with other software, seems like most are going that route.

I think you know all this, but I would research that bug incase it turns out t be a software bug with Ghost, I for one, would like to know of the issues before I run into them. Thanks.
