Your "A" wave appears to be labeled as an impulse, with five subwaves?

Yes, the A is part of a larger ABC zigzag wave off the January 11th top in the NDX. Zigzags break down as 5-3-5, so the A would have 5 waves.

And the triangle that you have forming over the past couple days - where exactly does that fit into your "C" wave?

The triangle would be the iv of C. Triangles are always either 4s or Bs. It would mean that the C is due to end after one more 5 wave advance, the v of C.
