Unfortunately, the Republicans have redistricted so well in 2000 that it will be hard for the Democrats to take advantage of a popular wave and retake the House. Not saying it can't be done, but they do have an uphill battle. The Democrats need to come up with some sort of campaign theme, a reform theme, give people a reason to want to vote for them.
