If there is no place to sell the silver near by the guy getting the fish may have the advantage. Oh please! That is the most desparate grasping at straws I have seen in a while. You might as well bring in hypothetical meteorites too. The investment has an ongoing risk that the cash payment for the work does not. This is where I most strenuously disagree with you. The worker typically risks more since they are risking the whole focus of their livelyhood on the enterprise, and the investor is only balancing highly transportable funds.
