ep, good news indeed!

i only have vermilion in the ng/oil trust category (as opposed to oil sand plays)

vermilion is 50% europe/libya (ng/oil), which is good, given russian inclinations and iranian tendencies

i would love to buy ng trust at ng=5.00

thank you for the tea leaf reading

Energyplay,
Bet you are right and the US gassy trusts are acting that way too. But just look at ERF. What is going on there? They haven't raised the divvy either. ERF is about half gas/half oil, I think.

Many other Canadians not doing too well, like Peyto. Time to get out? Vermilion doing great though. So is Energysplit one and two.

Energyplay,
BTW, I think Peyto is 100% NG so that probably explains the poor recent price action. May be a good one to buy next fall though.

And with ERF you have the long life reserves. May explain that one.

Which one would be the best to buy in case of a Iran related oil price shock?

Thanks for the heads up, EP.
Of course recency dominates the market place. Recently it has been warm, hence cold weather is no longer a problem forever and ever and it's time to sell North American NG stocks.
If we don't have a hot summer Peyto will drop a lot further, all because of recency.
Being crazy I will hold mine and take advantage of the DRIP. Two years pass quickly by. The gas in storage is something like Au to me.

I'm almost all out of trusts now. Still own some Canetic (SPN/AE merger) Sold my Viking premerger (oily but still sold it.) ...
NG dropping is not bad for oilsands either... I've a ton of oilsands. Also a fair bit of NG drill plays... but they will be gone over the next little while... Need some gold now I guess ... anything under 600$ and oz. is cheap I hear :O)
