I would add the following to your list...

...Nuclear attack on the west by rouge state or terrorist group.

...Pandemic outbreak of bird flu where millions die.

Tommaso:

I worry about these things:

For Petrobank:

1. The drill results from pods 1,2, and 4, being meager.

2. The Thai process not proving out.

3. The Columbian exploration land coming up empty, or being occupied by guerillas who demand nationalization of it (a la Bolivia).

4. The development costs of White Sands being so high they have to dilute the stock to under a buck.

For Connacher:

1. PDP being a flash in the pan.

2. The drill results for the oil sands holdings being meager.

3. The Peruvian exploration land coming up empty, or being occupied by native peoples who demand nationalization al la Bolivia.

4. The development costs being so high they have to dilute the stock to under a buck.

That enough for you? If not give me a little while and I can come up with some more. Meanwhile enjoy this feeding frenzy while it lasts and consider taking some of the profits off the table.
