a19,

4 ridiculous calls in this game, all against Seattle:

1. The offensive interference call, overruling Seattle's first half TD; absurd call, and the defender had his hands all over the receiver immediately before the separation.

2. The call: "Before the pass, offensive pass interference" on Seattle, overturning a 25 yard pass play. How can there possibly be offensive pass interference "before the pass"? Pass interference by definition only occurs once the pass is in the air.

3. Offensive holding on Seattle, negating a 30 yard pass play to the 3 yard line. The replay showed no hold whatsoever. 2 plays later, Hasselbeck throws an interception.

4. The call: "Illegal block below the knee" on Hasslebeck after his interception. First, how can a QB possibly throw an "illegal block" after he throws an interception? Second, the replay showed that his "illegal block" was actually his tackle of the ball carrier.

The officiating in this game was so bad, I thought I was watching an NBA playoff game (rigged in favor of the team the league wanted to win). These officials interjected themselves into the biggest game of the year and had a major effect on the outcome. If I were a Seattle fan, I'd be livid.
