I think most Americans couldn't tell you what their constitutional rights WERE if you asked them. Of those that could name a few, even less could tell you why they were important to have, as a citizen. Do they even still TEACH civics in school? It's up to those that know to defend the constitution from the executive. The job has fallen to the legislative and judicial branches, and I have no confidence that they're up to the job. It seems many of the right wingnuts who post here WANT to surrender their rights to the chimp Caesar!
