I thought the other embarrassing call was "Before the pass, offensive pass interference" against a Seattle receiver. That literally cannot occur (pass interference before a pass is thrown) under the rules. The ref specifically stated "Before the pass . . ." when he made the call. These guys were worse than some high school refs that I've seen. If the Niners had lost a Super Bowl this way, I'd . . . well, I'm not sure what I'd do, but I'd be pretty ticked. When NFL officiating is worse than the NBA, the NFL has a problem. jpg
