Tim.

Did I do this ?

Brock's earlier statements and perhaps also the American Spectator's credibility. To go from that to the assertion that all conservative publications and think tanks lie routinely and that anything they can be dismissed out of hand, is a large unsupported leap. It also invites people on the other side of the debate to operate the same way. Than you get both sides ignoring what the other side has to say and you get two monologues being shouted past each other rather than a dialogue.

Go from the assertion that all conservative publications and think tanks lie routinely.

If so , I apologize as I did not intend to imply this.

For example I like George Will . And the Heritage Foundation is pretty solid..

AND as for fabricating. I don't know that any organization does that routinely. But they all stretch the truth, take things out of the context of which they were said and try for sensationalism.. After all they want you to read...

Brock admittedly lied for the Spectator in his writings.
This was by his own admission. As to his veracity that has all ready been challenged here.
