CDEX doesn't compete with IPIX, its current focus is on products using chemical detection and validation technologies. It is devoting its resources in 2 areas: 1. The identification of explosives and illegal drugs 2. The validation of substances for anti-counterfeiting, brand protection and quality assurance. ValiMed is one of its products for the healthcare market. To my knowledge the company remains private and hasn't announced an IPO.
