He has temporarily resurfaced making the mega bucks working construction and home remodeling projects in bubble markets.

Not really, they just call 'em plumbers, roofers, electricians and dry wallers now. In some cases, "Contractors".

Yes a certain percentage has gone to the way of automation meaning fewer jobs...the danger is that a much larger percentage has gone to offshore job outsourceing and moving entire manufacturing operations to China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, etc.....

Service and techinical jobs to India....

Hands on manufacturing jobs are greatly diminished for the non college type and the college type../../

this will come back to haunt Americas young....
