...Gonzales either said the program under discussion before the senate committee was not that, that he could not talk about the operations of these programs only the legal justifications, and/or avoided the question altogether. Indeed... He also studiously avoided all questions as to the FISA end-run start date. The pointed way in which these questions were asked leads me to believe that the questioners have evidence as to exactly this. It will be interesting to see whether the WH can sweep this scandal under the rug, with the compliancy of Congress and the media, as they have with so many before.
