...then you don't dismiss something as important as this with that magisterial "we have the power". You answer the questions, you ask for change, you don't put on the mantle of absolute authority when that has been one of the most universal criticisms of this administration. You know, as well as I, that this isn't the only second term president to do this. I agree with you, that Cheney can fall into this niche nicely. But I also suspect he knows this is his last hurrah in D.C. and there is a little "stick it, in your eye" (as he did with a certain Dem a while back), in play. I'm not so sure that the hinterland is as evenly divided as you think, but hey, that's just my stupid POV. (G) Understand you have a little cool weather coming into DFW (get your ice cleats out, it's that time). ;-)

Funny thing at the gym today. I was on an elliptical machine and in front of the row of all of us are five TV's. Some are on game shows and there are two that have been on FOX news for the past three months. Today they were on CNN. The woman next to me leans over and says.. THAT is a Communist Channel and I am going to the desk to get it changed.. So she goes to the desk and comes back and says. Well, I will have to drop out of this place. They said that CNN gets on for 3 months as FOX has had it's turn. You know that FOX is the only channel that tells the news properly.. AND you want to know about that reporter who is missing. CNN will never tell you. They killed her. The only place you will learn what happened to her is FOX. And with that she storms off. Guess divisiveness is not only evident here. Is anyone giving up his or her membership ?
