I think it was more akin to pouring gas on a burning fire. Seems very impractical to me.


Look........I feel very strongly about democratic principles. Protecting those freedoms are hardest when the issues are controversial. If the Muslims want democracy, they are going to have to be more accepting of the rights of others who are different from them, and they need to learn there are other ways to object rather than torching buildings.

Having said that, I think most of the rioting is a set up to put the West on the defensive.

In addition, the West/you/everyone needs to learn that you don't respond to Muslim animosity by bombing them. That will only lead to WW III.
