The real problems, of course, will start after "Mission Accomplished II". This will be very similar to the Iraq invasion - first the lies, then the unprovoked attack, then the "dreaded" enemy folding up without so much as firing a shot, followed by the gloating and finally, the quagmire...

That's depressing. Even these lunatics have to have learned a lesson in Iraq...maybe I am naive.

I actually think the best way to deal with the Middle East is through air wars. What the hell are we doing occupying anyway? We need to get out and I mean now. Then if they build things we don't want them to build, like nuke facilities, then we bomb it to the stone ages. We could institute a no-fly zone over Iran, just like we did in Iraq. Then we could keep them contained for decades fairly cheaply.
