They don't mention that the Persians have never bought into the prohibition; you can buy images of the prophet all over Tehran So I understand. I, too, find it interesting that the questions about this prohibition has gotten little attention and that that apparent error is being repeated. pertinent facts the newspapers aren't telling you because they don't fit into the 'frame.' I'm not sure of that conclusion, though. It may be simple ignorance. That's one of things that we all "know" from someplace or other and repeat mindlessly.
