I know exactly what your saying and as a rule I win 2 bucks a week by not playing. There is a guy that comes into the express mart every Monday while I'm there getting coffee. He is cashing in any winners from the various drawings for the previous week, not many if any, and buying his weeks worth of tickets for 55 bucks. I couldn't help myself one morning and said if you put 55 bucks a week in a mutual fund over the next 40 years you will have won the lottery. He laughed and just went on about his day. I shouldn't judge someone by their appearance but this guy in no way shape or form looks like he can afford to be throwing 55 bucks a week away. Sad I guess. But we all make choices.
