First you set up a totalitarian government, ban private property and business transaction, hire half the population to keep an eye on the other half, etc, etc. I guess that explains the last couple of elections. Well, I think you are wrong. It's not an easy task to solve, but there is a solution somewhere between the dictatorship of the proletariat, and the gated communities of a neocon elite. it's unhealthy if the gap is so great and the underprivileged so many that you have civil unrest. The gap does increase over time, and will do so until some unhealthy event restores the balance. That is as natural as a hurricane balancing out a summer's heat in a great storm, but it's not inevitable. TP
