Bush keep talking about "protecting us". Shit, protecting us from what? A Nuke in Manhattan wouldn't change our way of life all that much. A multi-year oil crisis would bring us to our knees... we would probably never recover. I understand that protection was a big part of his S of the Union......also that he's calling the War on Terror the Long War. These people are scary.....its like they have been lifted from the characters of the book, 1984.
