there will always individual outcomes as differnt people have different skills, desires, and luck. Indeed. It's really the perpetuation of disparity, especially across generations, that causes the serious social problems. I agree that the disparity problem across generations is a problem. I do think, though, that the best solution is to get some influence over the kids and help them see their way out. There is one but if they can't see it, they don't have a chance.
