You don't think Kerry would've been in Afghanistan?

re: Bush hasn't made any progress on balancing the budget or reforming Social Security. Any decision one way or another would have been better than no decision.

What an idiot. His decisions have busted the budget. He came up with an SS plan that would have bankrupted the country.

re: Same thing with reforming the CIA, INS, or the huge bureaucracy called Homeland Security.

He CREATED FREAKING Homeland Security!!! Open your eyes!

re: At least with Iraq, he made the same decision he made in Afghanistan, kicked out an oppressive regime, and took the fight to the terrorists' home turf.

THERE WERE FEW IF ANY TERRORISTS IN IRAQ!!! What are you brain dead?

re: It's costing us a lot (maybe we should have just stopped with Afghanistan), but it's a lot better than just dropping a few retaliatory bombs.

"and took the fight to the terrorists' home turf"

No terrorists in Iraq until we kicked out the repressive regeime that wouldn't tolerate them. No suicide bombings or other terrorist incidents in Iraq until we liberated it. We brought terrorism to Iraq.

At least with Iraq, he made the same decision he made in Afghanistan, kicked out an oppressive regime, and took the fight to the terrorists' home turf. It's costing us a lot (maybe we should have just stopped with Afghanistan), but it's a lot better than just dropping a few retaliatory bombs.

This is such a narrow and optimistic view of what really is happening.
