Interesting piece. Kling is a new name to me. First time I saw a reference to him was the earlier item posted here.

He's clearly trying to mine the portion of the blogging industry which tries to stretch something they call "Marxism" to use the label to impugn anyone with whom they disagree.

He may be overly attached to his "folk fascism" frame. I don't think it altogether inapt in this case but neither do I think the Times article was cause to lay it on so thick.
