S2 Zillow was fun. I looked up all the houses we have lived in for the past 35 years in the US. Every one has a 10 year curve any business would die for! The first one we bought for $38k is now valued at $780k - who would have thunk it - at the time $38k was a total stretch...new job, we just had a baby, new town, still paying off college bills, first mortgage. Actually A20 and I had so much fun looking at places we lived along with the memories. Then we got nosey and started looking up all our friends houses. I was impressed at how accurate the average prices were. If you were moving to a new part of the country and didn't know much about it, this would certainly leverage your research and avoid having to listen to an agent drone on and on.
