You had much better luck than me.
I entered a dozen addresses that I know
through out the country and I continued
to get a very low tax accessed value
along with this message:

"County transactional data for this home is insufficient so we cannot calculate a Zestimate."

Zestimate smestimate. They shouldn't
bother going live and advertizing what
a great service they have until it is
at least 90% functional.

Yesterday I couldn't even get on.

They have a lot of work to do...

P.S. Minus 22 lbs. Consistently burning
500-600 cals every morning on my friend
the tread mill.

The calories and fat have surrendered and
are jumping ship! They don't stand a chance.

Oooh friggin rah!

a19-

I was impressed at how accurate the average prices were. If you were moving to a new part of the country and didn't know much about it, this would certainly leverage your research and avoid having to listen to an agent drone on and on.

zillow is a killer app...
but it's full of crap
(for new mexico real estate anyways)

it's showing values that are 50% higher than
today's listed prices. if you want to buy
my house at zillow's price today, i'll give
you $50,000 off and we'll both come out
$50,000 ahead. <g>

i checked some asking prices for some houses
on the MLS... plugged those exact houses into
zillow and found out that i can make millions
of dollars buying and selling houses today by
buying them at full asking price and selling
them at a hefty discount off of zillow's prices.

i've been waiting for an opportunity like this
to come along ever since the stock market stalled. <g>
