I'm assuming that your definition of "crowd" means individual investors (aka the dumb money). If so, then I disagree.

I've always thought that the buying or selling trend that appears within the next day or so after a FOMC is due to immediate activity by institutional traders (aka the smart money) regardless of whether the immediate post-FOMC trend lasts a week or several months.
