It's a matter of effectiveness, Rambi, in my opinion. Folks who act poorly or in a juvenile way diminish their message. Of course, they never think so.

Thank you Rambi. I think you speak for many of us. We used to call it "manners", and those who didn't have "manners" stood out like a sore thumb, as the saying went. If the sitting President, who represents the entire Country, was Jimmy Carter, do you think comments like the ones made directed at President Bush, would have been deemed "good taste" or appropriate. I think not.

I think the people with the fetuses managed to get their message across- and I suspect the people going after Bush will also be successful - which cheers me up quite a bit :-) Politeness all on one side does no one any good at all. While I do NOT want the left throwing racial epithets around, a la Coulter, I DO want them using every forum, every minute they can, to get across the message that Bush is poison for this country. If they are as in your face as the abortion protestors they will do some good- I think the abortion protestors have managed to really moderate people's views on abortion in this country. Protest works- that's why Bush puts people behind fences.
