Would you care to note how many, if not all of the senators you mentioned, received money from Indian tribes prior to those tribes becoming a client of Abramoff?

That is a two way street for Dems and Repubs. I suppose it demonstrates the irrational stigma attached to Ambramoff. Nobody is 100% wrong and of course normally they are bad a small portion of their dealings, but got the attention from that percentage being aired.

The problem isn't Abramoff, but the legitimatizing of lobbyists period. There only job is to influence people. I see worse than Abramoff the politicians with spouses that are lobbyists.

The only purpose of a lobbyist is to overcome public interest for the special interest. The lobbyist, in their element are charged with reducing the value of the individuals vote.

Abramoff's experience these days only illuminates the problem that lobbyists create for the American people.

They are the vampires of the system. They suck the unvote that sucks the real vote of the people for survival.
