I feel sorry for today's kids that have soccer moms instead of freedom. Freedom for children is too risky in most environments these days.

I do not mean to disparage soccer moms, who are doing exactly what I think they should be doing. I was a soccer Dad, and a soccer coach for beginners (I had no idea how to coach and barely grasped the game, but we had fun.)
