The whole key is having fun and physical activity. We would play hide and seek after dinner every day in the summer - we neighborhood kids. It was more fun.

I guess you could call mine a soccer mom. She used to kick my ass all over our tenement apartment in Hell's Kitchen. Some nights we used to go camping on our fire escape and sleep under the stars (we couldn't see them through the smog, but we knew they were there!). My dad would have to stay up all night and stand guard. We tried camping on the roof one time, but there were too many rats.

I was a football coach for beginners and have been a soccer coach. The skills I was trying to teach were within my grasp, it was the patience and ability to work with the kids that I have lacked. Maybe I just need more practice.
