Thanks Andrew...Vulcan philosophy has three major tenets: the embrace of pre-emptive action, the notion of an "unchallengeable American superpower" and the systematic export of America's democratic values I'll order it from the library in a couple of months...(when the events here settle down just a bit!) I do wonder if America didn't have a strong Military, if we wouldn't be as the UN is....toothless, and becoming more meaningless every day. If we didn't have a strong Military, would that stop China or the former Russian countries, as well as the Middle East from having WMD of all sorts, as well as a strong Military force??? Right. If we didn't have any power, the others would just cease and desist. I'm sure there are many who think that way, but I sure don't.
