Sounds like Cheney's trying to put the blame on the victim. His spokesperson said it was the lawyer's fault for not announcing himself. Also, the local news broke the story 24 hrs. after it happened, then called Cheney's office for confirmation. Wonder if they thought they could keep it on the mum.
