Junkers without smog tests are taken off the road by force in California. That goes for rednecks, Mexican immigrants or whomever.

AS, The poor use very little energy. The vast majority of illegals don't even have cars. And those that do have beat up junkers that are responsible for 50% of the emissions in California these days. Of course, the silence from the environmentalists is deafening. Just because you can not hear them does not mean they are not saying anything. Who do you think got CA the strictest emission standards in the country? And who do you think donated money, got signed petitions,etc to help them to make it happen?
