Hunting is one thing, but this description is no "hunt." It is really pathetic actually. Never mind that the birds were raised to be shot...never mind that Cheney probably did not eat 70 birds. To me is says something about ones character when they find joy in shooting living animals with no chance of escape. The word "hunt" implies having to find the prey, then approach what is usually a cunning adversary. I am not anti hunter, and I would tend to think most real hunters find this practice distasteful. I don't hunt, but I like venison and the like as much as the next guy. I used to get fresh venison from a friend who hunted deer and would eat and give away the meat.

The "hunt" described here is just bloodthirsty assholes with no real sense of sport. Pathetic.
