Harper will learn the hard way that Canada is not Texas and he is not G. Dubya Bush. He will only be in office a couple of more weeks so I don't think his threat of reducing anything from the gun registry to climate controls is going to make much difference. The only honourable thing for Harper to do at this point is to blow his own brains out.
