i will be verrrry surprised if some areas don't lose power today with this wind on top of the ice from yesterday. i'm just watching a couple of the trees in my backyard being bent so far that i figure they're gonna snap if this keeps up. ouch!! we had minus temps overnight, but as soon as the sun comes out in the morning, it warms up. my neighbour, maryann, has big fat yellow crocuses blooming in her front yard - sweet. when its sunny and bright and clear in haida gwaii, it is very, very, very beautiful. when its raining, its just beautiful <g>
