This is why I tend to believe that the Traditional Media skews Right; not by the stories that they write/broadcast, but by WHICH stories they choose to present.

Endless tales of missing white women are an intentional distraction from the more substantive stories, IMHO.

There are a variety of ways to frame this incident and I am trying on many, including yours. I must say that your top angle--special treatment--is not one that would have occurred to me independently. I just don't have class disparity as a natural frame of reference.
