Splitting hairs which gets us nowhere. Excuse me? Your statement effectively charges that either Cheney or the sheriff is lying. I don't think that correcting that is "splitting hairs." Particularly in an environment where "lying" is a standard political assault. I don't know about you but almost all of us who have a beer or two during lunch go right back to work. What is the big deal here. Exactly. And if you had an accident driving home, the report would say that no alcohol was involved.
