The problem is, left wingers have lost their compass and appear to be flailing wildly at any target they can find. I could say the exact same thing about right wingers. They attack everything that they disagree with. John Kerry, a brave vet who served honorably in Vietnam while most of the current leadership hid out, was savaged in one of the most outrageous smear jobs in history. The right insinuated that Kerry and Edwards close relationship must be homosexual. The right attacked Kerry's wife for being too outspoken. They attack critics of Bush as unpatriotic and unAmerican. They flaunt power, marginalize the minority, then cast blame to others for all their failures. There is much more spiteful and cruel behavior coming out of right wing hate media than from the left. Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity, Savage, and the rest are bitter know nothings who incite in a cynical money-making scheme that harkens back to the old tent revival days. Instead of passing the hat, they hawk their books and other wares to fools who in exchange for a false sense of righteous indignation. Laughable until you realize how many Americans have been duped by these charlatans. PT Barnum lives - on the right wing.
