I roofed a house myself once. Took a week in the Texas August sun and I'll never do that again. LOL

When I did my plumbing two years ago the plumbing inspector told me up front that he wouldn't approve plastic piping for the water supply lines. Apparently he also had some bad experiences! I could have gone to the chief inspector for an override but that would have forced me to have all of my plumbing absolutely perfect to get passed. I learned from the experiences of others that it's always better to work with the inspector. I wonder what happens to PEX if the water line freezes or the PEX is exposed to subzero temps with no water pressure (vacant rentals)
